I started this blog when I began learning more about my own Hungarian heritage. It all started with a family history and genealogy project. Over time I realized that I knew very little about Hungary, the culture that my ancestors lived in, and that I'm "more Hungarian" than I realized.
This blog explores history, genealogy, society, culture of Hungary - then and now. How are people who moved to America from Hungary stereotyped or perceived? Is there such a thing as a Hungarian vegetarian? Is it time to learn the language and become a dual citizen?
From serious issues to fun stuff, there's room for it all!
