HAPPY HUNGARIAN VALENTINES : ‘Bálint Nap’ or ‘Valentin’Day

Yes Hungarians DO celebrate Valentine's Day, and though it is not as commercialized as it is here in the United States, maybe that's for the best, for there is still an appreciation for a poem, card, or other items that are one of a kind, hand made. Chocolate, flowers, champagne, going out to celebrate your love is all good, but perhaps celebrations are more for city people.  Linking above to a page all about it from HUNGLISH.ORG

Seems to me that some of the positive (it's all true!) stereotypes of Hungarians are that they/we make for passionate lovers, romantic, sexy.... OK.... HOT!  You know... lots of talking over coffee, wine, cigarettes... lots of standing on tables to recite original poetry...  Confess!
